[Pyeongchang County] Take a good rest looking at a herd of sheep - Daegwallyeong sheep ranch(대관령 양떼 목장)②

Going down the other side from the top of hill,

you would find pens of  sheeps in your sight

 

 

During my entire life, I have never seen this many sheeps at one time. the sheep smell was not very good and dirty. It was very different from the image of a sheep in my mind. Nevertheless it was a very fun experience.

 

 

I touched a wool of sheep and took a picture with them. Funny thing is that the reaction of people were very different when they looked at sheeps. Some were far away from pens because they were frighted by sheeps or they don't like the smell from sheeps. Others, however, really like to approach sheeps.

 

 

 

Overall all the kids looked very happy. It was very cute for them to try to communicate with sheeps.

 

 

 

And the last, but not least of sheep ranch tour is an experience place to give a hay to sheeps. If  you bring an entrance ticket, it will be exchanged with a hay stack.

 

When someone who has a hay stack approach sheeps, they shows very strong reaction.  I hold out my hand with a fisful of hay stack, sheeps gobbled it. You must expect sheep's saliva on your palm.

With parents, children, or lover, whoever people come here togher, they all looks very happy. Breathing a fresh air and looking at peaceful sheeps, in the beautiful nature, I could take a good rest.
